Muriwai's Art Learning Story
In my surrealism art it was hard to draw the face shape I kept on drawing the face shape until I liked it. I drew over the lines with pastel so I couldn’t see the other lines I drew I tried to make it look like me but with different colors then I outlined my face. 

In my surrealism art, I swapped my mouth for a banana because it is one of my favorite food 

When I was drawing my surrealism art I kept looking at my personal profile to help me to swap something in my face with what I like and what I like to do. 

I was good at coloring in my face and the back round and I was good at drawing the eyes nose and the mouth and I was good at using unusual colors for facial features. The colors I used were black, yellow, brown, red, green and skin color because those are some of my favorite colors.

Next steps I want to be able to include lots of detail and put something about the person inside or near their portrait and combine several pictures to make one. And I need to add more things about me to my art so other people can learn about me and who I am.

Muriwai’s Maths Learning Story Manusiu has 20 metres of material to make some tupenu for her family. Each tupenu needs 1.5 metres of material.  How many can she make? In our maths groups, we talked about this problem and my group and I thought that it might have to multiply in it so when we took the the pen we started thinking about how we could solve the maths problem. First, my group wrote 1.5x4=6 then 1.5x5=7.5 and we were trying to find out the answer but it was too slow then I remembered that you can multiply it by 10 to get an answer faster we wrote 1.5x10=15. Then there were 5 metres of material left so we wrote 1.5x3=4.5 and we put 4.5+15=19.5 and the answer was 13 because that was how much tupenu we could make. Muriwai's Personal Profile My name is Muriwai and I will tell you all about myself. I was born July in 27 2006 in Auckland. I am good at parkour I practice at the park or at school with my friends and I'm good at sports like basketball  and dodgeball. I have 2 sisters and 3 brothers. I have been to two schools in my life. When I was little me and my family lived in Wellington then we went to Australia then we moved back to Wellington in 2008. Tech Blog I want to share this with you because I want to share what I did in technology and what next steps I need to use. When we got off the bus I got put into the music group but I wanted to be in cooking first. In music, we had to choose songs for the next week we chose our song and after we chose our instruments I was left Ukulele but I wasn’t that good at it so AJ and I switched instruments and I got to use the piano. When I learned my part, our group was waiting for the performance when the music group was ready we had to perform and our band was first up. I was scared to play but I played a little bit.
