Muriwai’s Technology Learning Story
In technology, we are in group 3 music. The teacher played some
songs to check if we knew the song, artists and instruments then
every group in music had to pick out a song. We chose our
instruments then we practiced until we got our instruments right
I played the piano my group's names were Porirua and Tru. Porirua had the drum and Tru had
the guitar.
Next steps I want to try to learn 3 instruments next year in technology
and I want to try to get one of the papers we put into the music box.
I was good at the piano but when we performed and recorded
our band, I was scared. I was good at answering the questions
in my book about the songs we tried to figure out at week one of
technology.
In technology, the things that were hard for me was asking the
teacher for help when I was stuck on the piano and playing the
piano when we performed.

Muriwai’s Maths Learning Story Manusiu has 20 metres of material to make some tupenu for her family. Each tupenu needs 1.5 metres of material.  How many can she make? In our maths groups, we talked about this problem and my group and I thought that it might have to multiply in it so when we took the the pen we started thinking about how we could solve the maths problem. First, my group wrote 1.5x4=6 then 1.5x5=7.5 and we were trying to find out the answer but it was too slow then I remembered that you can multiply it by 10 to get an answer faster we wrote 1.5x10=15. Then there were 5 metres of material left so we wrote 1.5x3=4.5 and we put 4.5+15=19.5 and the answer was 13 because that was how much tupenu we could make. Muriwai's Personal Profile My name is Muriwai and I will tell you all about myself. I was born July in 27 2006 in Auckland. I am good at parkour I practice at the park or at school with my friends and I'm good at sports like basketball  and dodgeball. I have 2 sisters and 3 brothers. I have been to two schools in my life. When I was little me and my family lived in Wellington then we went to Australia then we moved back to Wellington in 2008. Tech Blog I want to share this with you because I want to share what I did in technology and what next steps I need to use. When we got off the bus I got put into the music group but I wanted to be in cooking first. In music, we had to choose songs for the next week we chose our song and after we chose our instruments I was left Ukulele but I wasn’t that good at it so AJ and I switched instruments and I got to use the piano. When I learned my part, our group was waiting for the performance when the music group was ready we had to perform and our band was first up. I was scared to play but I played a little bit.
