Muriwai’s Inquiry Learning Story

Muriwai’s Inquiry Learning Story

When I was starting my inquiry I was choosing my issue and what I was
going to show my issue with. My issue was climate change and I was
making it with clay.

I chose climate change because it will affect everyone in the future and
I chose clay because I thought that it will be easier to make shapes.

The first thing I did was to search for climate change so I could learn how
it happens and what it could do to everyone. Then I went to write
everything I knew about it.

After I asked the teacher if I could get some clay for my inquiry and so I
could start working.

I drew a plan of what my clay was going to look like before the clay came
in and when the clay came I started to make what I wanted but I didn’t end
up finishing my inquiry.

The key competency I used was managing self because when I was near
my friends, I would try to focus on my work and not get distracted.

My next step is to take action because I wasn’t asking what I wanted from
the teacher so I didn’t have enough time to finish.
