Swimming Snapshot of Learning
Swimming Snapshot of Learning
I want to share this with you because I want you to know how I got better
at swimming.
at swimming.
On the first day of swimming, we jumped in the pool and then we had
a choice to swim to the far end or we could choose to swim to the flag.
I swam to the flag because I didn’t like swimming.

I swam to the flag because I didn’t like swimming.
On the second day of swimming, we went to the other side of the pool
to put on life jackets after we had to jump into the pool then we held
hands to make a circle we also swam while holding each other's life
jacket and go back around.

The next day we had to swim to the other side and hop out of the pool
because we went up high and we had to dive or jump with our feet first
then when all of us jumped in we had to swim to the other side and back
again

The key competencies I used were participating and contributing
because when I didn’t want to swim I did it anyway to improve on
swimming and to learn more from the swimming teachers.

My next step is to listen to the teacher because I would always put
my head underwater when the swimming teacher was talking.
